The deluxe version of the Tremere journal is quite eye catching, it's considerably larger than the less expensive version: that said the newer one does have a more antique look (which would be my only real complaint about this journal: it aside from the paper it looks very new, rather than a worn grimoire). Unlike most of the journals there is no By Night Studios logo stamped into it, it does have a sticker label on the cover. The cover is much as it appears in the pictures, it is wood with leather and metal decorations. The pages are deckle edged with a very handmade look. It is very close to 8 1/2" x 11" if not slightly over.

The pictures don't really capture how awesome this journal is. First off, it's big, much bigger than it looks in photod. The interior looks to be handmade rag paper - it oozes authenticity. You'll be tempted to take up quill pins for this. You'll always get in the last word at chantry debates if you have this thing.
