I really prefer this design to the 'deluxe' version offered before (not to mention it's a much better price) it has wonderful deckled pages and a worn gold leaf cover (giving it a great feeling of age). Unlike other BNS journals it does not have the logo on the back cover. I also find it funny that of all the clan journals, this seems to be one of the only books without some form of clasp or tie to hold it shut (the other one I can think of is the Salubri...kind of ironic symbolism there), a clan full of secrets leaves their book unlocked, lol.
